Fans of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” are holding their breath as rumors of Phaedra Parks divorcing Apollo Nida get louder. Apollo Nida will be reporting to prison before the end of September. The reality star is following requirements set out after his plea, but it appears that he might have put his family’s finances in jeopardy. According to Urban Daily on Friday, Apollo Nida must surrender himself at the FMC Lexington Prison in Lexington, Kentucky, on September 10 at noon.

This leaves people wondering what will happen after he is in prison. Sentenced for eight years, the reality star is going to be away from his children and wife. And it could be that he will be divorced by Phaedra Parks while serving his time. Since the plea arranged requires the star to pay restitution after release, the decision could be one Parks makes quickly.

The Liberty Guardian is reporting that Phaedra Parks might be liable for Apollo Nida’s debt if the couple is still married after his release. Looking at paying over two million dollars is a tough burden and might not be something that a spouse would be willing to financially carry. Breaking the marriage would help protect Phaedra Parks’ assets and her children. Being that she is a mom, it makes complete sense that she would be worried about the welfare of the children and will make the best choices based on protecting them.

While people are watching the prison to report on when Apollo Nida arrives, most people assume he will slip in under the cover of darkness so there won’t be any pictures taken. Then again, this might be taped for the show and if that is the case, a camera crew will be following him to the doors.
