Fans of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” knew love was in the air with all of the hints of a New Year’s engagement on Twitter, but Jimmy Fallon persuaded NeNe Leakes to confirm her wedding plans live on his show, January 3, according to “NBC Entertainment News”.
“The New Normal” actress will be remarrying ex-husband Gregg Leakes, whom she divorced in 2011 after a 14-year marriage and is the father of one of her sons, Brentt. Bryson Bryant, her eldest son, who recently had a baby girl, spends his time in and out of trouble.
On New Year’s Eve, the 45-year-old NeNe tweeted “Headed to dinner with u know who,” “Happy New Year from the Leakes” with a photo of the newly engaged couple, romantic photos of the evening, followed by, “my answer was,” and “yes”.
After showing “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” reality star the pictures of rose petals and Hershey Kisses, Jimmy Fallon encouraged NeNe Leakes to answer the question all of her fans waited to here.
Fallon: "You start tweeting out these photos…so, are you engaged?" Leakes: "Well, a little after midnight, I was asked this beautiful question: 'Will you marry me - again?'”
“Yes” was how NeNe Leakes answered Jimmy Fallon and the world with her New Year’s Eve tweets. Fans of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” will undoubtedly be wondering how the wedding to ex-husband/new fiancé will play out on the Bravo reality television series.
