Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kandi Burruss stars in Bravo's 'The Kandi Factory'

Another one of the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" is branching out to her own show. Songwriter and musician Kandi Burruss will star in the upcoming Bravo show “The Kandi Factory.” The series follows the Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter Kandi Burruss as she helps 16 aspiring artists jump start their dreams of success in the music industry.

Burruss has made her own celebrated mark in the industry as the writer of such R&B hits as "No Scrubs," for TLC and “Bills, Bills, Bills" and "Bug A Boo" for Destiny's Child.

In each stand-alone episode, Burruss puts everything on the line by offering two protégés with no industry experience an opportunity of a lifetime – to master the key elements that make a star and a chance to fulfill their dreams.

Under Burruss' guidance, contestants will experience real life situations superstar music personalities face on a daily basis, including recording sessions, choreography lessons, makeovers and more. Consulting on the show are industry experts producer Don Vito, choreographer Victor Jackson and stylist Kwame Waters.

The winner of each episode who creates a lasting impression on Burruss and the team will get the ultimate career break – an original song based on their personal life, written by Burruss herself as well as a music video produced by her accomplished team.

The show will air Tuesdays on Bravo beginning April 9.
