'Real Housewives' news: The truth about Brandi Glanville and Aviva Drescher

Most of the real housewives that are cast members of the "Real Housewives" in any city, America are quite accustomed to making the news as their lives had them in the spotlight long before the "Real Housewives" franchise became a twinkle in Bravo's eye. Even so, once in a while with every celebrity news comes along that seems to have two truths. Two of the "Real Housewives" have been battling this dilemma and are being faced with public news about their lives that isn't accurate. On June 10 Radar Online reported that Brandi Glanville of the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" was homeless and Brandi Glanville has clarified the truth behind that news. As well, a hopeful question facing many "Real Housewives of New York City" fans is, has Aviva Drescher been fired yet? KPopStarz has reported on June 13 that Aviva Drescher will appear on the next season of the "Real Housewives of New York City."

It was June 10 when Radar Online reported that "Noone will rent to Brandi Glanville because of the reputation that comes with her shooting the show". Radar reported that Glanville was "forced out" of her lush Beverly Hills rental due to issues with her landlord. Radar also "exclusively" reported that "no one wants to rent to the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star".

Did Radar check the facts accurately or stop to consider that this single mother of 2 might be adversely affected if potential landlords saw that news?

Radar quoted the infamous insider known to many celebrity reporters. Close Source told Radar,

“Brandi has been desperately searching for a house she can rent in a comfortable neighborhood, but it’s not going well. She finds a place she likes, but then the landlord or renter realizes who she is and doesn’t want to risk the drama that comes along with her shooting the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'. She'll do anything at this point. She just needs a decent home!"

Brandi Glanville responded via Twitter to Radar, her potential future landlords, and the world, in true Brandi Glanville style,

"I had a one year lease on my last house-the yr was up &the owner sold the house.Thats the WHOLE story so pls stop making up BS articles. The owners offered to sell me the house but I declined so they sold it to someone else, that's the whole story so stop making s**t up pls."

But that is not the only rumor floating around about the "Real Housewives". After a rather contentious season, many fans of the "Real Housewives of New York City" want Aviva Drescher off of the show. The biggest rumor floating around the New York City camp right now is, has Aviva been fired or not? KPopStarz has confirmed that Aviva Drescher has been signed onto the next season, but that she wouldn't lose sleep over it if she didn't.

A lot of speculation was fueled around Aviva's return when she did not appear in the opening credits of Season 6 of the "Real Housewives of New York City". This led many to wonder, and hope, that she wasn't coming back. She explained this situation away,

"But right now what happened was, I didn't go to the Berkshires because I had to go visit my kids at sleepaway camp so I didn't film that weekend. I'm going to be on the rest of the season. ... But if they do ever fire me, it's not something I would get depressed about. I could live with that."

There are many reasons that fans of the New York "Real Housewives" franchise dislike Aviva Drescher. Classy is not the word that comes to mind for many fans of the "Real Housewives of New York", as Aviva's father has a perversion to him that many just can not shake.

Then of course there was the time Aviva brought up the text regarding a threesome at a high society charity function. In another episode Aviva told someone at a children's party to "shut the f*&^ up". Her most notorious drama however is of course surrounding her fragile relationship with fellow castmate Carole Radziwell.

Although Carole Radziwell has only come face to face with the public eye since appearing on "The Real Housewives of New York", her work has been in the public eye for over 20 years. Carole is a three time Emmy Award winner and New York Times bestselling author who actually considers her casting on the Real Housewives as the least of her accomplishments.

As she should, though the public has only known her persona since her appearance on this hot Bravo TV Show, her name is very well respected in the journalism world, which is why the public will never see her name in the tabloids. She is considered by many fans one of the most together, and most real, Housewives to date.

Did Aviva know this before beginning her slam campaign against her? Did Aviva know that Carole has spent the past two decades writing for ABC News, 20/20, and authoring two books? In addition to that work, Carole has received an Emmy for her foreign policy coverage in Cambodia, and has also covered the same in India and Haiti. Carole was also stationed in Israel during the Gulf War and was also stationed in Afghanistan in 2003.

Carole's drama with Aviva has centered around digs from Aviva suggesting Carole was not a real writer, or hired a ghostwriter to author Carole's two published books as is seen in the clip provided here.

Did Aviva know anything about Carole before she asked Carole if she had hired a ghostwriter for her latest book? As would any writer with accomplishments of Carole's stature, these allegations from Aviva led Carole to significant distress. In one of their on screen dramas Carole publicly referred to Aviva as a "total sociopath".

Do you think Aviva Drescher should get fired?
