On the Jan. 14 episode of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," Kim Richards decided to take her sister, Kyle Richards aside for a serious talk.
The chat revolved around both of them holding on to anger and Kim took a huge step forward when she apologized. It was an emotional time for both of them and Kyle is very proud of Kim for the progress she has made.
Kyle Richards was asked in her interview if she was convinced that her sister would remain sober forever. She responded,
"Am I 100 % convinced my sister will stay sober forever? No, that will take some time."
Kyle also said that Kim always tells her that she has to take one day at a time. Kyle is very hopeful that Kim will remain sober and she is very proud of how far she has come.
It can be difficult for those with an addiction to remain sober and Kim is no exception. Luckily, she has her sister to encourage and support her. However, in one clip of the Jan. 14 episode, some of the cast members were drinking in the presence of Kim. While people should not stop having a few sips just because one of their friends cannot drink, it may have been a temptation when the ladies were sipping champagne from their glasses knowing that Kim Richards is a newly recovered alcoholic.
Based on what fans saw, Kim handled the situation very well. She seems to have a strong will to succeed and viewers are hopeful that this is a new beginning for her.
Kyle and her sister are on the right track with their relationship and all of us wish Kim the very best in her recovery.
