The “Real Housewives of New York” appear to be playing the violence cars to get solid ratings. News of the cast members getting into a fight isn’t anything new, but it appears that it becomes physical with Aviva Drescher throwing her leg during the season finale. According to FOX news on Monday, viewers will see the cast member throwing her prosthetic leg across a room at a fancy restaurant.

Keeping the season finale quiet, the taping of the incident was finished quite a while ago. The magic of nondisclosure agreements has people keeping silent and most won’t discuss the big blow up at the end of the season. With few details to offer, the only thing viewers know for sure (and even saw on video) was a limb being tossed, thrown or somehow moved strangely. This had everyone interested, but more importantly it made people wonder why the show allows the ladies to lash out physically.

Aviva Drescher has definitely been a thorn in the side of many of the cast members. The woman has more than once had viewers shaking their heads. The woman always seems to be in the spotlight for weird things and the idea of throwing a limb seems to fit her perfectly. One of several story lines on the show, Aviva hasn’t really offered anything up of interest to the fans this season. She has been there, but the intensity isn't quite the same as other cast members. Unfortunately, Aviva Drescher needs to try something to revive her time on the show. She isn't as interesting as she used to be and people are bored of her antics.

The “Real Housewives of New York” appear to be using the tactics of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Wanting to get ratings, the ladies get physical. In the case of “RHOA” is was a physical altercation between cast members. It appears that “RHONY” is looking at a variation of this idea by throwing a prosthetic leg to try to hurt someone.
