“The Real Housewives of New York” star Alex McCord may not be filming the show anymore, but she continues to be a mother to her two sons, Johan and François. As her sons are getting older, they are picking up on more things and learning new terms. And one of her sons may have overheard something on the television, because he asked his father about serial killers. This may not be something parents want to talk about with their children at such a young age, but it is hard to ignore once the topic has been brought up. According to a new tweet released on Mar. 6, “The Real Housewives of New York” star Alex McCord’s son asked his father, Simon van Kempen, about how to identify a serial killer.
“The questions you get at 7:30am walking to the school bus "Dad, what's a serial killer look like?" Sleep well son, did you,” tweeted Simon this morning. Of course, Simon is close with his sons and appears to be good at explaining complex matters to his sons. Rather than just brushing it off, one can imagine that Simon gave his son an answer that would suffice his son’s expectations, but not scare him completely.
Since leaving the show, Simon and Alex have both been working on their own, including working with social media. Alex has been tweeting various fashion updates with Sulia and earning money from the amount of clicks she is getting. In addition, the two stars went on “Couple’s Therapy,” claiming they were on the brink of divorce.
