There seems to be a never ending supply of "Real Housewives" television shows, from New Jersey to Beverly Hills, with even more towns throwing their names in everywhere in between. It has become so popular that TV Guide announced on Feb. 13 that Bravo will create a "Real Housewives" awards show.
The first award will be presented on March 20 and the rest of the awards will be given out throughout the entire Sunday night television lineup on March 23. It will all kick off during the first look at the new season of "Real Housewives of New York City" where host Andy Cohen will announce the first ever "Lifetime Achievement Award."
That will be the one non-fan voted category, and since it is taking place during the "Real Housewives of New York City" show, it is a good bet that the first lifetime achievement honor will go to "New York" alumni Bethenny Frankel, who was able to use the show to help catapult herself into one of the most successful female entrepreneurs to come from the franchise.
The rest of the awards will be based on fan votes and look like they will be more materialistic, fitting perfectly with the "Real Housewives" world. Awards will be given out based on "Most Memorable Outfit," "Loveliest Locks," "Party of the Year" and more. There will also be some fun awards, such as "Best Fight Locale" and "OMG-est Moment of the Year."
Fans have until March 21 to vote for who they want to win before the "Real Housewives" awards are revealed on Bravo on March 23.
