A local real estate agent whose car struck two bicyclists in Saddle River over the weekend has a Dec. 6 court date on charges that include assault by auto.
Darshana Gandhi, 57, of Upper Saddle River was driving her blue Lexus north on East Saddle River Road around 1:15 Saturday afternoon when it crossed into the southbound lane, hit a guardrail and hit both bicyclists, Saddle River Police Chief Timothy J. McWilliams said.
One victim was transported by Medevac helicopter, the other by ground ambulance, to Hackensack University Medical Center, where they were undergoing treatment for their injuries, the chief said. READ MORE....
