A Reagan's daughter lesbian novel is making headlines tonight, as the NY Daily Mail reported this Thursday, March 21, that Patti Davis has avowed her most recent book — about a woman who falls in love with her sister-in-law — is not at all autobiographical in nature, and that she herself is not a lesbian.
Under the headline, “’I didn’t want to write another ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ or whatever’; Reagan 'sdaughter lesbian novel is not autobiographical”, the Daily Mail notes that the late President’s daughter has self-published her book entitled “Till Human Voices Wake Us.”
“Till Human Voices Wake Us” is currently available on Amazon for $3 per online copy. Although reviews have been mixed by fans so far, Patti Davis has made it clear to the public that her controversial book about a woman who finds herself attracted to her sister-in-law isn’t about herself or her sexuality.
“This is not me. None of it is autobiographical.”
Although the former Playboy poser Patti Davis is well-known for her liberal views, she has also unveiled that no serious sex scenes are to be found in her novel.
“I didn’t want to write ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ or whatever. It’s a love story.”
The Reagan daughter lesbian novel is self-published on Davis’ Amazon page because “Till Human Voices Wake Us” was reportedly rejected by several publishers.
The past actress and celebrity figure feels that the topic of a woman who suddenly enters into a lesbian relationship following her son’s tragic death may have been a shock to publishers in the industry.
