If you are not on goodreads, go make your profile. Goodreads can be an amazing passage to exploring new genre, connecting with other writers, and getting involved with great reading groups.

When you read your vocabulary grows, your imagination expands, and you nurture the creative writer inside.

Become a connoisseur of words. As you read, make a list of words you want to use in your writing. Make and entire word file for words that sound fun in your mouth, words that paint a picture, words that evoke feeling, words that stir emotion. Make the categories that fit you and jump right in to a world of words from the greats of writing.
