Dr. Seuss books are loved around the world. They fill us with whimsy and tell us, both young and old, that it’s A-OK to be silly, have fun, and let our inner child out to play.

"You're never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child."

To celebrate reading, bookstores and venues around DFW are hosting Dr. Seuss events:

Sunday, March 2 @3pm

Half Price Books celebrates Dr. Seuss’ birthday with Read Across America, Dr. Seuss Storytime at their Dallas flagship store on Northwest Highway. Each year, young and old alike celebrate Read Across America Day on March 2 in conjunction with Dr. Seuss' birthday.
