Beyoncé killed it last night during her Super Bowl performance. She came out with a short-fitting, black leather and lace outfit, looking gorgeous. Her post-baby body appears to be in great shape as she graced the stage with her bold presence and outstanding dance moves. It seems Beyoncé still has what it takes to get the crowd roaring. Could she be the reason for the Super Bowl blackout? It seems many feel she was so powerful in her performance that she knocked the power out!
When you turned on the television this morning, what did you see and hear; all the talk about the Ravens winning the Super Bowl and of course, Beyoncé’s Super Bowl performance. The other big talk of Beyoncé’s performance was when Destiny’s Child (Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams) popped up on the stage. It seems the trio never missed a beat; it was as if they have never stopped performing together. They did a superb job together and all three of the ladies looked great.
What celebrities are saying
Beyoncé even had celebrities talking and tweeting about her Super Bowl performance. Kim Kardashian tweeted, “OMG Beyoncé killed it!!! And then when Destiny’s Child came out…that made my life.” Carrie Underwood stated that “Beyoncé’s performance made other singers look stupid in the most awesome way possible.” First Lady Michelle Obama also weighed in congratulating Beyoncé by tweeting, “Watching the Super Bowl with family & friends. @Beyoncé was phenomenal! I am so proud of her! – mo.”
Tweets didn't only come from celebrities regarding Beyoncé’s performance; reportedly, her performance resulted in 5.5 million tweets. Let’s not forget, her hubby Jay-Z also tweeted about his wife stating, “Lights out!!! Any questions??” It seems Jay-Z was assuming his wife’s show blew a fuse at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome because right after her performance is when the blackout happened. It sounds like hubby was very proud of her performance. Beyoncé apparently felt happy about her performance because after leaving the stage, Beyoncé excitingly jumped into Jay-Z’s arms.
