Reaction to Adam Lambert's performance is 'homophobic' (video)
Adam Lambert faced his critics on The View in a pre-taped interview segement that aired on Thursday morning. Adam Lambert talked to The View "ladies" about the AMA performance controversy that just won't seem to go away.
While Elisabeth Hasselbeck spent her portion of the interview backtracking on earlier comments she made trashing Adam Lambert, Joy Behar asked Adam Lambert about the potential homophobia surrounding the AMA controversy.
Adam Lambert replied that this was the exact double standard that he's been talking about since the AMA performance aired.
Adam Lambert went on to perform a pre-taped performance of his second single "What Do You Want From Me?". See his performance here.

This is a GREAT article!! Truly a double standard..
Thank you Liz for writing this.
ADAM is so charismatic. He disarmed The Viewettes with his irresistible charm. I give him an A+++ just for being himself.
yeah, as Joy said, the daytime soaps are more graphic sexually and kids are home. Eliz telling him he is a nice guy and the ama controversey was misleading characterization. Walters saying with all goin on in world, it wasn't really that bad, but the funniest momment was Adam saying: " I am different, my dreible spins in a different direction".LOL. All these smart adult women laughing about the stupid ama hallballoo proves they love & support him.
