The Redondo Beach Police Department is hosting a Pasta Feed and Silent Auction to raise funds for the RBPD Team Surf to Sand in the upcoming 2014 Baker to Vegas Relay Challenge.

The relay entails 120 miles of pavement, 20 stages, over 8,000 runners, guests, family members and support staff, hot days, cold nights, blood, sweat, pride and honor.

That's what the world’s most prestigious and unique law enforcement foot race is all about. Starting in Baker, California and ending in Las Vegas, Nevada, law enforcement officers from around the globe battle it out every spring for the chance of winning the coveted cup trophy.

The fundraising event takes place on Saturday, February 22 at the Women’s Club of Redondo Beach from 5 to 8 p.m.

This is an all you can eat feast with wine going for only $4 per glass!

The silent auction closes at 7:30 and all proceeds directly benefit Team Surf to Sand.

Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased at the Redondo Beach Police Department or at the door the day of the event.
