Razzie nominations: who will be the worst of the worst for 2010?

Golden Raspberry Awards

While looking back on the Golden Globes and salivating with anticipation over the SAG Awards and the hallowed Academy Awards, you should take a step back for a laugh or two with the impending Golden Raspberry Awards. Like the Oscars, two movies stood out from the rest with nominations, though for their horrendous quality instead of their high caliber. The most nominations were bestowed upon M. Night Shyamalan's The Last Airbender and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, the third installment of the teenage vampire franchise based on a book series written by Stephenie Meyer.

The Razzies have been awarding Dis-honors for the Worst Achievements in Film since 1980 in the industry's leading categories. The 31st annual event will take place on February 26th (one day before the Academy Awards) in Hollywood. While there aren't any Oscar nominees in the running like last year (ahem, Sandra Bullock, who went on to win Best Actress for her powerhouse portrayal of Leigh Ann Touhy in The Blind Side), I think you'll find this year's list of nominees generally accurate and positively knee-slapping.
