From what sounds like a dangerous proposition, Razors and Diapers is actually a metaphor for “fathers and children.” Based in Bermuda, founder Pete Saunder’s website features a well-rounded experience for men who want to be better fathers, husbands and well, better men in general. The site features video interviews, movie reviews, activities to do with your children and more. Topics include raising happy children, being a stay-at-home dad, being a divorced dad, balancing work and family life, and spiritual guidance.
Pete is a great guy, doing what a lot of us are trying to do, be a better father. You’ll appreciate his honesty, humor and his accent! Below is a sample video that you’ll find on the site titled, “7 Habits of Happy Kids.”
“That is my purpose for this episode of Razors & Diapers,” says Pete, “to encourage you parents to introduce, re-introduce, and continually remind your kids of these 7 habits. The interview features my son, Dakari, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at 7 months. Despite his disability, he has a great spirit, an amazingly curious mind, and just a beautiful personality. You will notice that I edited the video. This was done only to keep the interview time as short as possible. Enjoy! And please continue to be the best Dad you can be or to support positive fatherhood.”
