The Razorbacks will host the Samford Bulldogs in Little Rock on Saturday. This will be the first of two games for the Hogs in Little Rock. The Hogs will host Mississippi State later in the year.

The Bulldogs are coming off a victory over Georgia State. With the move to Football Bowl Subdivision by Georgia State, the Samford win was one of seven by Football Championship Subdivision teams over their FBS counterparts.

The win over Georgia State gives Samford a much needed shot of confidence as they seek to be a contender in the Southern Conference this season.

The Bulldogs are coached by former Auburn great Pat Sullivan, but he was not available for the first game of the season. Sullivan is recovering from a July back surgery, and it is still unknown he will be available for the game against Arkansas.

Samford scored points by an interception, a kickoff return, a pass and a rushing touchdown to along with a field goal to win 31-21.

The Bulldogs will not be in awe of the bigger stadium in Little Rock as they played Georgia State in the Georgia Dome.
