Ray Romano, wife reveal breast cancer struggle

Thanks to "Everybody Loves Raymond" and "Men of a Certain Age," Ray Romano has shown off that he is a far more versatile TV actor than many people expected over a decade ago -- and while we may often laugh at what he has done for a living, he has also dealt with some deep and difficult issues in his personal life.

For the first time, Romano told People Magazine in a new story that his wife Anna was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010 -- and now that they have fought off the disease, they are trying to encourage others:

"The reason we're going public is to share our experience, yeah, but to have an effect ... Our goal is to help people."

Anna and Ray have four children together, and they all banded together in order to tackle this health crisis -- and we are happy that things are starting to look up.
