Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice was arrested in Atlantic City after he was reportedly involved in a casino fight that was said to take place in an Atlantic City casino. This news comes via The Baltimore Sun, who spoke to this Baltimore Ravens running back's attorney, Andrew Alperstein.
According to the newspaper's reporter Justin Fenton on Feb. 16, Rice was released on his own recognizance soon after the incident. So was with his girlfriend, who was also charged with regard to the alleged altercation.
The hullabaloo — which has been called a "very minor physical altercation" — happened on Friday night at the Revel Hotel on the boardwalk in the New Jersey hot spot.
Ray Rice, who is 27, seems to be an upstanding citizen. He is said to be involved in anti-bullying and anti drunk driving campaigns in New Jersey where he went to college. He was drafted from Rutgers in 2008 and became a three-time Pro Bowl selection.
And so, when Ray Rice was arrested this weekend, the Baltimore Ravens running back was accused of an Atlantic City casino fight. Whether or not this actually occurred has not been neither confirmed nor denied.
