Ray Rice, the Running Back for the Baltimore Ravens, was involved in an altercation with a woman outside of a Boardwalk casino and was arrested along with his fiancé.

After the booking process, the couple was released from custody, but will have to return for court when the date is set. Early reports say that the altercation was actually between Rice and his fiancé, however, details at this point are still sketchy.

Atlantic City police have not made a statement and they have not responded to any of the inquiries from the media in reference to the incident. Likewise, the security department at the Revel Casino, where the incident allegedly occurred remain tight-lipped about what happened.

A spokesman for the Baltimore Ravens made the comment, “We are aware of the Friday night incident with Ray Rice and his fiancé. We have spoken with Ray, and we know that they returned home together after they were detained. This story is still developing and we will update the story with other details when they become available.
