Ray Liotta, a Hollywood actor best known for the leading role in the mob drama “Goodfellas” is suing Nerium International – a skin care firm – according to a Yahoo! News report on Thursday. Ray Liotta says that Nerium International used his name and likeness – before and after pictures of him as a portion of the firm’s campaign for an age-defying cream. The company used his name and likeness without his consent.
Furthermore, Liotta says that he never even used Nerium International’s ‘Nerium AD wonder cream.’
Liotta is suing for damages from the company as well as from one of the company’s investors who stars on the reality program “Shahs of Sunset” – Michael Shouhed.
Besides suing for damages in the case, Liotta is demanding that the company remove photographs of him from its advertising campaigns immediately.
Ray Liotta is a 59 years old actor who portrayed Henry Hill in the 1990s film “Goodfellas.” He also portrayed Shoeless Joe Jackson in “Field of Dreams in 1989. He is an Emmy Award winner.
