Ray Lewis has already decided that he is retiring from the Baltimore Ravens at the end of this season. On Jan. 3, news came out that he is close to a deal to work on a show on ESPN. According to ESPN, this could be a multi-year contract.
This will put him on the "Monday Night Countdown." He could also end up on several other TV shows on ESPN if the deal works out as planned. He is retiring to spend more time with his family and watching his two sons play in their own football games.
Washington Post says that if he went with some of the other TV networks he would have to work on Saturdays. This would mean that he wouldn't always be available to watch his son play college football and that is not an option for him.
Would you like to see Ray Lewis sign a deal with ESPN? Would he be good on shows there? Sound off on your thoughts in the comments below.
