Children absolutely love to be in the kitchen. It's a great way to get them eating healthier. They are far more opt to eat what they made with their own hands and have become familiar with over some foreign vegetable they do not know anything about at all. Raw foods are awesome for kids because they don't have to worry about messing with a hot oven or stove. Granted there can be some cutting involved, but as long as supervised they should be okay.
Raw foods are amazing to the body because they still have enzymes in tact, unlike cooked food, which are catalysts for healthy digestion. Raw foods are fast, delicious, and easy to prepare. There is no need to gather time in a bottle consuming recipes. Sometimes lengthier recipes are ok, but not all of the time. Everyone is too busy for that.
Raw foods taste great, especially when it's a dessert. Here is a recipe to try with your little ones as an after school snack.
