When Kat Kim, founder of The Beauty Uprising, posted her December 12, 2013 audio blog the Seattle-based life coach decided to get real. Turns out, getting real is what a beauty transformation is all about. Kim started The Beauty Uprising program aimed at transformation from the inside out which helped women access the kind of mind-body mentality already within them. Kim's coaching business gained momentum and she got press coverage in Seattle. Then, as she described in her video blog, things changed radically.
After the end of a four year relationship Kim found her life in transition. The economy may be picking up but Kim's coaching business went through a fluctuation and had to move. By the time she recorded her honest audio blog, Kim announced that she was, "broke, fat, and homeless." Does this mean the end of The Beauty Uprising? No. All it means is that Kim is starting and rebuilding her life from a new foundation. Most of all, she has a choice, on how solid this new foundation can and will be.
The Beauty Uprising was developed as a method and program to re-design one's life, body, and personal image. Kim has done this once to remarkable results. Now, she is doing it again. Life is about reinvention and discovering more about who you really are. Often this is through the ups and downs that happens in life. Kim's raw honestly and clarity on how she is managing her current and temporary circumstances, says one thing about Kim and her method: there is real strength underneath true beauty. Kim is poised to rise, just as she has done before, and her supporters are still behind her.
