"Ravenswood" is coming to ABC Family later tonight, and this series will bring a haunted feeling to the network. On Monday, Oct. 21, From Inside The Box shared the latest comments made by Tyler Blackburn about the new series.
He has brought his character from "Pretty Little Liars" to help create the spin-off. Caleb will feel a pull to Miranda, and he will want to help her. That means going to the town of Ravenswood. It is a town that isn't 'quite right,' according Oliver Goldstick in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
Blackburn will find himself pulled to the town, and he will learn quickly about the haunted nature of the town. A sneak peek released for the episode shows Caleb learning some about the history of the town, and that history is quite deadly. A history that filled with death will leave its mark on a town, and everyone in town feels that mark.
The series is filmed in New Orleans, and even that location fits the series. Graves are above ground in the city, and the same is true for Ravenswood due to a huge flood in the late 1800s. That flood killed many in town. That adds to the haunted feeling. Blackburn teased the following about the series:
It's a very spiritual and haunting show. It's about ghosts and death and the loss that this town has come in contact with.
For now, Caleb will come into contact with Miranda. She is played by Nicole Gale Anderson. The actress left a role on "Beauty and the Beast" to star on this new series. "Ravenswood" will air on Tuesday nights on ABC family.
