Ravens win Super Bowl: Flacco MVP, Ray Lewis wins finale in power outage game

In a game that featured brother vs. brother, a retiring legend and a near 40 minute delay do to a power outage, the Baltimore Ravens survived an incredible 49ers comeback and held on to win the 2013 Super Bowl 34-31.

The Ravens dominated the entire first half of play taking a 21-6 lead to the locker room, and before the huge crowd could sit down for the third quarter kickoff, Jacoby Jones ran the second half opening kickoff 108 yards for a touchdown putting the Ravens up 28-6.

Game over, right?

Nope, that's where it gets interesting. A sudden power outage caused a near 40 minute delay - and it seemed to spark the 49ers.

The 49ers scored 17 straight points and made this Super Bowl a nail biter.

Niners QB Colin Kaepernick woke up in the second half and looked like he did all season making incredible plays with his arm and his feet, but in the end the Ravens hung on for the win in one of the most lopsided turned thrilling games in Super Bowl history.

Ravens QB Joe Flacco finished 22/33, 287 yards and 3 touchdowns winning the games MVP award.

Flacco finished the postseason with 11 touchdowns and no interceptions

The 2012 season is now officially over and the countdown until the 2013 season begins is already on!
