Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, MVP of Super Bowl XLVII,will appear on tonight's "Late Show with David Letterman," according to a Feb. 4, 2013 press announcement from CBS Television Network. In addition to Flacco, guests include New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and Elvis Presley tribute artist Cody Ray Slaughter.
Flacco appears to talk about his team winning the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Feb. 3. This is the ninth consecutive year that a Super Bowl winning quarterback has appeared on "Late Show" after winning the football championship.
Flacco and the Ravens, who despite a strong comeback attempt by the 49ers in the second half, led the entire game to win 34-to-31, clinching their second championship title in franchise history. Flacco completed 22 of 32 passes for 287 yards and three touchdowns, with no interceptions.
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie makes his first visit to the broadcast. Letterman has skewered Christie with jokes about his weight and eating. Tonight, Christie gets Letterman back by having fun with the jokes.
