Ravens playoff scenarios for 2013 are a bit complex. Within the 2013 Baltimore Ravens playoff scenarios, three games have a lot of importance to dictate how things will turn out. Though it begins with the team beating the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday (Dec. 29), apparently the team has asked for a help. A report from CBS Sports on Sunday morning has the front office asking for the help of the New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs.
Taking to Twitter, the team posted, "Hey @nyjets and @KCChiefs, we have a big favor to ask..." Eugene Monroe was even quoted about calling Chiefs offensive tackle Brandon Albert and stating, "I hear you are resting people. Don’t mess this up for us now."
Currently, there is a three-way tie between Baltimore, the San Diego Chargers, and the Miami Dolphins for the second wild card spot in the AFC. If the three-way tie were to remain there, Baltimore would get locked out of the postseason and Miami would clinch that No. 6 seed. Baltimore owns the head-to-head tie-breaker if there ends up being a two-way tie, though, so they really just need to win and hope one of the other games turns in their favor.
In a best case 2013 Baltimore Ravens playoff scenarios, the team needs to beat Cincinnati in the 1 p.m. ET game and the New York Jets need to beat Miami in another 1 p.m. ET game. The Chiefs and Chargers then play at 4:25 p.m. ET, but everything could be decided by the time those two teams take the field on Sunday afternoon. If Miami wins their game, the Chargers then need to lose.
