Now that the opening NFL game is in the books, the Baltimore Ravens may want to go back and ask the Baltimore Orioles why?
Instead of the defending Super Bowl Champions opening up at home they were forced to travel to Denver.
Instead of a celebration it turned into a debacle and to make matters worse, the Baltimore Orioles announced a crowd of only 17,383 at Camden Yards. In comparison, an NFL pregame concert in downtown Baltimore drew roughly 42,500 fans.
Ravens’ fans took over the Inner Harbor as country music singer Keith Urban offered a free concert to help fans forget the frustration.
“We won the Super Bowl, we deserved it. It should have been at home, but what can you do?” said Samah Alvi. – CBSBaltimore
Instead of celebrating an achievement the Ravens were left watching another achievement by Peyton Manning who torched the Ravens defense for more points than the franchise has ever given up.
Thanks again Orioles…
