The Ravens very likely have to win this weekend to make the playoffs, but taking the AFC North is no longer an option after their loss to the Patriots.
To get into the playoffs, the Ravens are going to have to grab the final wild card spot in the AFC.
There are a couple of different ways for the Ravens to get into the playoffs.
The Ravens have to win and hope one of Miami or San Diego loses. Miami hosts the Jets while San Diego is at home against the Chiefs.
The Jets are playing better and the Dolphins looked awful last week, but the fact the game is in South Beach has to favor Miami. It's also unlikely that the Dolphins are going to play as poorly as they did last week against Buffalo.
The Chiefs are a quality team but have struggled of late and could choose to rest their starters since they are locked into the top wild card spot. Andy Reid said he will mix and match his starters, which doesn't sound promising for the Ravens.
The Ravens could also get in with a loss so long as the Dolphins, Chargers and Steelers all lose, which is highly unlikely. The Steelers play host to the Browns.
It's not looking too good for the Ravens, who have the toughest matchup with a road game against the Bengals. Baltimore just needs to find a way to pull out a win and then hope for the best. Maybe former defensive coordinator Rex Ryan will throw them a bone.
