Just learned of this great venue for Rhode Island's knitting groups and lots more.. . Pull up a chair and have a cup of tea.

A fabulous resource to kibitz about your needlework, post photos of projects, get help finishing, or just chat.     Read about the next workshop. The knitters’ and crocheters’ meet and greet working site: Ravelry.com.

Body Doubles is a new group aimed at helping you figure out before you knit, what will look good on you. If you’ve ever looked at a pattern or style and wondered, would that look good on me, this group may be able to help. The idea is to find someone with the same or similar body stats and to look at their projects to find projects that will work for you as well.

Needle Harvest is a group that aiming to make September the month that you take back your needles. If you are plagued by startitis with UFO’s overflowing from your knitting bag. If you can’t find any of your 8 pairs of #7 needles because they all have WIP’s on them, then it may be time to evaluate your projects and decide exactly which ones you want to finish and which ones are just not meant to be.”
