Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus will be released Nov. 12th for $39.99 via the PSN Store and retailers. Pre-orders at participating retailers will come with Ratchet's Pyronox Armor that grants a 5 percent damage-reduction. Pre-orders at Amazon.com will also include a "huge package of R&C-themed content for PlayStation Home" valued at $30.
This latest version of Ratchet & Clank is described as a "more compact experience" by Insomniac Games. It's not as long as Tools of Destruction but longer than Quest for Booty. The developer would also like to make a PS Vita version of Into the Nexus but wants to get a quality R&C title out for the PS3 first.
In Into the Nexus, Ratchet and Clank are stranded in an abandoned sector at the edge of the galaxy following a jailbreak by twin criminals Vendra and Neftin Prog. The two end up on the planet Yerek to hunt the criminals down but have to make it through the world's haunted cities in the process.
