Country super group Rascal Flatts has released information on their next tour, which will be presented by Farmer's Insurance, and called "The American Band Tour." All the acts on the tour are bands; Little Big Town, Eli Young Band and Eden's Edge. The tour will start on June 15th in Hartford, Connecticut at the Comcast Theater.
The concept came up from the fact that Rascal Flatts had always wanted to bring some of their own personal favorite vocal groups on tour with them. It's sure to be a great night of entertainment.
Coming up next for Rascal Flatts is the completion of their current "Thaw Out Tour," and the release of their eighth studio album, CHANGED, which is due out on April 3rd on Big Machine Records. Just two days before their album is released, the band will be in attendance at the ACM Awards in Las Vegas, where they are nominated for ACM Vocal Group of the Year.

**Thompson Square will replace Eli Young Band
While it currently seems that Mountain View is as close as this tour will come to Sacramento, I would bet that they'll be adding a date at the Sleep Train Amphitheater in the fall. We shall see if I'm right.
