One of country music's best-selling groups of all time, Rascal Flatts, will release a new record and headline a major tour in 2014. The trio revealed to "Country Weekly" that their next studio album will focus more on their stellar harmonies rather than slick production. Band member Jay DeMarcus, along with highly-sought producers Dann Huff and Howard Benson produced the group's newest project.

“I remember one time Joe Don and I were sitting at the console doing some guitar overdubs, and we said, ‘What if we do this, and we don’t do that?’ Just a couple little things, but it was like a light bulb went off,” he says. “We discovered this cool direction. . . . It’s been an exciting record because we’ve had the chance to do a bunch of different things,” bassist Jay DeMarcus explained.

The album's first single, "Rewind," hit radio in January and is currently at number eighteen on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. Once again Rascal Flatts will bring their show to the masses, hitting cities in the US and select dates in Canada. Grammy-winning musician Sheryl Crow and "Best Night Ever" singers Gloriana will serve as opening acts.
