Dayton OH – November 12, 2010
Here’s hoping that Rascal Flatts fans fare better on the “Nothing Like This Tour” tour than they did during the “American Living Unstoppable Tour,” planned for Dayton last February, but snowed out.
According to a just received press release from the Nutter Center, “When Rascal Flatts wrapped the first leg of the “Nothing Like This Tour” last month, the band had performed for more than 650,000 fans in all of 2010.”
But fans will likely forgive them and go buy tickets when they go on sale next Friday (November 19th) and the band plans to take the stage on January 28, 2011 on the second leg of a tour in support of “their first album on Big Machine Records” set for release on November 16th.
With sales of “more than 20 million albums and 25 million digital downloads,” it’s no surprise that “they’ve placed 11 #1 singles since the launch of their career and have more titles in Billboard’s Top 100 Songs of the Decade than any other group in the country format.”
This is a good time for tickets to go on sale, too, because they make great stocking stuffers.
Or imagine the look on someone’s face as they open up a big box, with a single CD of the new album, with a pair of tickets taped to the back.
Appearing with Rascal Flatts on this tour is Luke Bryan, who “is enjoying the best year of his career with the success of his current album, Doin’ My Thing,” and Chris Young, who “has scored back-to-back #1 singles with “Gettin’ You Home” and “The Man I Want to Be.””
“Reserved tickets are $59.75| $39.75 | $25.00 [plus applicable service charges] and go on sale Friday, November 19 at 10 a.m. at www.Livenation.com , www.Ticketmaster.com, the Nutter Center Box Office and all Ticketmaster outlets. Charge by phone at 800-745-3000.”
They include the reminder, “dates, times and artists are subject to change,” which we found out all too well in 2010.
The Nutter Center web page hasn’t yet been updated with this show, but generally parking is included with admission.
