John Taylor, whose pictures of Paul and Linda McCartney from the '70s were featured in the book “The Beatles and Me,” will appear on Fox 8 Morning News in New Orleans Monday, it was announced Aug. 18.
Taylor, who hails from the city, will be interviewed about his collection of pictures of Paul and Linda taken duirng during the recording of Wings' album “Venus And Mars” at Sea Saint Studios in New Orleans in 1975. “The Beatles and Me” book features his pictures, and other previously unheard accounts of meeting the Beatles and unseen photos.
“The popularity of the book in the U.S. is amazing,” said one of the book's compilers, Dean Johnson from Liverpool on Sunday. “We are riding high in our category on Kindle, and we cannot ship the books out fast enough to meet demand. I hope to arrange a reading tour of America before the end of the year.”
