Three years ago today (October 15th, 2010) a meet and greet opened in Fantasyland to promote Walt Disney Studios newest film called "Tangled". The movie had not been released yet and few people knew what, or who, was going on inside that tower. But once the film became a huge hit, Rapunzel and Flynn became one of the most popular characters for guests visiting Disneyland. And that popularity hasn't diminished.
But as the saying goes, all good things must come to and end. On October 24th the doors to the tower will close for The Fitzherberts, as the new tenants move in starting in November. "Frozen" is Disney's newest animated feature film scheduled for release on November 27th. To help promote the film, Olaf the snowman will reside on the rooftop as sisters Anna and Elsa greet guests inside.
So these are you final days to visit Rapunzel and Flynn before they depart. However, they can still be found at Fantasy Faire's Royal Hall performing in their own show, with a brief meet and greet afterwards. And they're also part of the musical "Mickey and The Magical Map" which plays at The Fantasyland Theater.
