Rapper Young Jeezy facing jail time after attacking his teenage son

Tuesday Jan. 7 the Urban Daily reports Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy has been arrested for false imprisonment, battery, and making terroristic threats to his teenage son.

Jeezy in legal trouble after 2012 attack against son

According to police documents obtained by TMZ representative, Jeezy got into a fight with his son in a bathroom and he threw him into the glass shower door, causing the son to hit his head. He then allegedly punched the teenager in the face, dragged him into the bedroom, threw him on the bed and pummeled him.

The police report also says Jeezy choked the boy while threatening to kill him. Jeezy allegedly screamed, “I will kill you. I will put a bullet through your head right now. If I could get away with it, I would kill you.”

The incident allegedly took place back in September of 2012 however, Jeezy, real name Jay Jenkins, did not turn himself in to authorities until Friday after a grand jury warrant for each charge was issued. He made bail set to the tune of $45, 000. Jeezy lawyer responded to the situation stating, "We have no doubt this matter will resolve itself appropriately. At this moment, Mr. Jenkins is thankful for the support of his fans and the respect for his family's privacy."
