The San Antonio Talons are gearing up to start their second season of arena football. Their first game is this Saturday March 23, 2013 against the San Jose Sabercats at the Alamodome at 7:30p.m.
In an effort to make the arena football experience more exciting and entertaining and make for the ultimate fan experience, the Talons are planning a series of post-game concerts. Along with the concert series, Xavier, The Freakin’ Rican from The Beat 98.5 was named the official DJ and announcer for the Talon games.
“We are excited about the opportunity to make each Talons game more than just a football game, but instead, a night of heart-pounding, adrenaline-pumping entertainment from start to finish,” Talons’ owner A. David Lynd.
After this Saturday’s game, GRAMMY®-Award winning rapper, record producer, entrepreneur, and international DJ Lil Jon will perform after the game. He was a member of the group Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz which he formed in 1997. After he went solo he released an album in 2010 titled Crunk Rock.
