Fans of the rapper may not be happy to hear “Jim Jones arrested” as a news headline this week, but Philly Entertainment reported this Thursday, Feb. 14, that rapper Jim Jones was arrested recently after acting “aggressive” toward police in his New Jersey hometown.
Jones was officially charged early this Wednesday for disorderly conduct and hindering apprehension from police, the report noted. It is not yet known if the rapper has found himself a lawyer, though the cause of the arrest allegedly stems from Jones’ vehicle about to be towed.
Though Jim Jones was reportedly willing to pay the ticket and fine, he became “visibly upset” after past warrants for him were discussed (including failing to yield for an emergency vehicle). The rapper was arrested but has already posted bail, and is due in court this Feb. 27.
