Rapper Benzio was shot in Duxbury, Massachusetts, just miles away from Boston, while en route to the funeral for his own mother. And now, just 24-hours-later, the “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” star and co-owner of the hip hop magazine “The Source” is now being seen by everyone online due to new photos of him lying in his hospital bed.

In what would, on the surface, appear to be an invasion of privacy, Rapper Benzino body images show the rapper, whose torso is full of tattoos, lying with his eyes closed and a tube up his nose in the hospital, while friends and love ones pay him a visit.

According to multiple reports, Benzino was shot by a relative in the shoulder while on the way to the funeral for his mother.

Benzino has had a unique couple of years in the public eye. Already a know rapper, Benzino became part of an ensemble cast on VH1’s “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta,” a show known for its “ratchedness” due to constant betrayal, backstabbing, and infidelity seen on the screen.

During “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” season 2, Benzino got irritated at Stevie J, believe the man caught in a love triangle between Mimi Faust and Joseline Hernandez was putting his relationship with women above his longtime friendship.

Later, though, Benzino became the voice of reason on the show when married man Kirk cheated on his pregnant wife Rasheeda during a boy’s getaway. With women invited to the getaway, Kirk admitted he “made a mistake” by having sex with women, much to the disappointment of Benzino.

At the conclusion of season 1 of LaHHA, Benzino did admit that a portion of the show was “reenacted” for the cameras involving his on-screen relationship with Karlie.

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” season 3 is currently filming and will air in a handful of months, likely when the current season of “Basketball Wives LA” concludes.
