DIAMOND BAR, Cali - From the SoCal (sub)urban farming pioneer Kumar family, creators of “The Growing Home”, comes an innovative, yet simple, advancement toward low-impact hygiene - Brush With Bamboo.

According to the Kumar’s, “Around 450 million plastic toothbrushes that will each take over 1000 years to degrade are dumped in landfills every year in the U.S. alone. Brush With Bamboo brush handles are made from 100% bamboo - a rapidly renewable and biodegradable material. The bristles are made from a blend of bamboo, tea plants and nylon.

Engineered for comfort, composting, creative upcycling (see image) and chic interiors, Brush With Bamboo is an affordable alternative to the traditional toothbrush.

The Growing Home - About

Beginning in 2008, the Kumar house, located in a suburb of Los Angeles,
began to be slowly converted from a grass growing space to a food growing farm. Today, The Growing Home is an urban farm (producing annual yields of 3000 pounds), educational center and model home. The Growing Home serves host to workshops, garden consultations and even offers an online herb shop.
