Ransomville Speedway announces 2013 schedule

Ransomville Speedway, located in Niagara County, has announced a tentative schedule of events for the 2013 dirt track racing season. The season opens on Friday, May 3rd and ends with a two-day event on Friday and Saturday, September 13th and 14th.

Highlights of the season include the fourth annual Battle of the Border, presented by Waste Management and FindItQuick.com, on Wednesday, July 3rd. The night features twin DIRTcar Series events – a 75-lap, $5,000-to-win feature for the 358 Modifieds and a 50-lap, $1,000-to-win Sportsman feature; also on the card – the FindItQuick.com Fireballs and a fireworks show.

On Friday, August 2nd, Tim Hortons presents the Patriot Sprint Car Tour, while on Friday, August 16th, the 29th annual Alex Friesen Summer Nationals for the 358 Modifieds takes to the track for a 100-lap, $13,000-to-win event.

On Friday, September 13th, the track hosts the King of the Hill qualifier, followed by the King of the Hill Twin 100s for the Sportsman and Street Stock classes on Saturday, September 14th.
