Randy Travis appeared in “Christmas on the Bayou” on Lifetime as shopkeeper Mr. Greenhall and fans were happy to see their favorite country singer/songwriter smiling and laughing, his trademark Randy Travis smile on full display.
“Christmas on the Bayou” made its world premiere on Lifetime Dec. 14 and Randy Travis fans got an early gift as they got to see their favorite singer add to his acting credits. Even though Travis has been in rehabilitation recovering from a life-threatening cardiac illness and subsequent stroke, he was still able to give fans the gift of his talent.
“Christmas on the Bayou” is a sweet movie, telling the story of a young woman who comes home to the small town of St. Martinsville, La. for Christmas. Randy Travis, billed third in the credits, stars as Mr. Greenhall, the local shopkeeper who Kate, portrayed by Hilarie Burton, helps build up his business.
Randy Travis fans will have several chances to see the country music icon in “Christmas on the Bayou” as Lifetime will show t again on Saturday, Dec.21 and Sunday, Dec. 22. For additional showings of the move, visit the Lifetime website.
