Randy Travis was at a recent “Smiles for Life” concert in Dallas, his first outing since suffering a stroke last year. Country music singer Neal McCoy snapped a photo of himself with Randy Travis, who looked happy and healthy.

Neal McCoy posted the photo of himself with Randy Travis his official Facebook page Feb. 7, saying, “Randy Travis and I recently backstage before I went on, at a Smiles For Life concert in Dallas Texas.” McCoy went on to say that he felt honored to because this was Randy Travis’s first time out and "his first time to have cowboy boots on since his illness." “Getting Better!!!” McCoy noted.

Randy Travis’s father, in an interview with Closer Weekly, said that the award-winning country music icon has been playing his guitar a little and that he is slowly getting his voice back. Photos of Randy Travis also found their way around the internet recently. In one photo a smiling Travis is sitting in a golf cart flanked by two friends. In the other photo Travis is seated and his fiancée Mary and her children are standing around him.
