It's been a few years since veteran Filipino music artist Randy Santiago and Gino Padilla have performed in the United States for their fans. Coming this Friday, June 27, 2014, Santiago and Padilla bring back the old school Original Pilipino Music or more commonly known as OPM music to Carson, Ca at the Carson Civic Center.

Dubbed the Music Throwback Concert, the twosome are joined by well known Filipino singer of the 80's and 90's, Fe De Los Reyes. Bringing tot he new school will be dance performances by up and coming entertainer and TV host Jonathan Timmons along with his dance crew, Republiq. Youthful Imani Youngblood will open the show with hits of the day.
During a recent meet and greet tour this past Sunday, Randy, Gino and Jonathan greeted their fans at local restaurants and shopping centers frequented by Filipinos to drum up support for the show.

"We're doing our promo tour. We're driving around the City of Carson to invite friends and fans to our show. This actually my first time with Gino Padilla. After this event, we'll fly back to Manila then head back out to for our Canada tour."
Randy Santiago is not only known for his singing but also acting, directing and producing. He has acted in movies such as "Paikot-ikot", "Pera o bayong (Not da TV)!" (2000), in which he portrayed Tiburcio, and "Taray at Teroy" (1988).
Performing in the United States is not new for Gino Padilla as he has appeared in local concerts in Los Angeles. Interestingly, Padilla also shared the spotlight with Tina Turner as he along with other international music artists recorded a song for Pepsi.

"It is a throwback for me. Once the fans tell me what am I going to sing, I of course say 80's."
Padilla's most popular song was "Closer, You and I." It was featured in his debut album "Shifting Gears."

Growing up in the South Bay, young Jonathan Timmons recently moved to the Philippines to pursue a career in Philippine entertainment. He's been featured as a model in various print ads and magazine. This month he will be on the cover of "Brand" magazine in the Philippines. Timmons also is a TV host on a travel show called "Escape."
It's an appropriate that Timmons homecoming for this month includes showcasing his dance skills at the Music Throwdown concert. will bring his dancing expertise to the stage in the city he grew up in.
"It's great to be able to come back home to my hometown and have a show where I can dance with my friends and just showcase them. The exposure is great especially with the legendary Randy Santiago and Gino Padilla."

Music act The Sassy Girls were recently added to the concert event. The trio is the newest girl group of Bellhaus Entertainment, made up by Stephanie, Maries & Patricia giving you a "Sassified" experience in their shows.
