Randy Orton set for another heel run after WrestleMania 29

Over the last few years, Randy Orton has lobbied for the WWE to turn him back into a heel where he had his most success as a wrestler. Additionally, Orton once claimed that being a heel was just a natural extension of who he was. Well, it appears that Randy's wish will be coming true. According to a March 6th report by FW4Online.com, the WWE is planning on turning Orton heel soon after WrestleMania 29, which takes place on Sunday, April 7th.

Orton is teaming up with Sheamus and The Big Show at Mania to take on The Shield. There are some who think that Orton could turn on his teammates at WrestleMania 29. This act of betrayal could be the catalyst for the reported heel turn.

Orton had his greatest success as a heel. He quickly rose up the rankings and became a major star in the company. The former 9 time world champion a 3rd generation wrestler who can connect with the fans better as a heel than a face.

The WWE is desperate for major stars and major storylines. Yet, they continuously drop the ball with Orton. There are few stars in the WWE that can match his wrestling abilities. It's time for the Viper to return and there's no bigger stage than WrestleMania 29.
