The rumors keep swirling around the pending heel turn for WWE's Randy Orton. The popular superstar experienced his greatest success as the company's top heel and has been outspoken about wanting to return to his heelish ways. According to a January 15th report by PWInsider.com, the WWE has tentatively scheduled matches between Sheamus and Randy Orton for late March, just prior to WM 29.
In addition to this, F4WOnline speculates that Orton's loss to Wade Barrett on Monday's episode of RAW is part of the heel turn process. Orton lost cleanly to Barrett, which surprised many fans due to Orton's perceived status as one of the main stars in the company.
WWE needs top level talent and Orton is one of the best. However, as a face, he's just another star, but as a heel he is phenomenal. Orton is currently involved in a small feud against The Shield and it appears it will last at least through the Rumble. But, if the WWE wants to make Orton a heel sooner than March, they should have him turn on Sheamus and Ryback during a PPV match against The Shield.
