Randy Jones, the sexy, original, cowboy from the Village People, announced his wedding plans to partner Will Grega via press release, which was obtained through TMZ on Wednesday, and it’s going to be a gay affair spanned over the course of three days, no disrespect intended.
According to the press release Randy Jones distributed, the Village People cowboy has planned a three-day event in New York City to show his devoted partner, and the city that never sleeps, his affection.
Beginning on Thursday, Randy will publicly propose to Will in Columbus Circle, which will be followed by a couple’s dance to Andrea Boccelli’s “Septiembre Amor." The pair participated in a marriage ceremony on May 7 of 2004, however the nuptials were not legally binding. Jones had stated, “It would only be a matter of time before the courts rule in favor of what’s morally right and humanly decent.”
On Friday, the 60-year-old Village People cowboy and his partner will be married at City Hall with their mothers present. The reception to follow is scheduled for one of NYC’s trendiest rooftop bars hosted by special guest, Warrington Gillette, Jason from “Friday the 13th, Part 2”.
The three-day wedding event will commence on Saturday when the happy couple celebrates in Little Italy during the San Gennaro Feast, which will include a “true Italian banquet” to honor Will Grega’s heritage.
It was reported Randy Jones’ future husband had stated that he now has a “lifetime membership to the YMCA”.
